Erika Eigen “I Want To Marry A Lighthouse Keeper”
I held her near
And wept a tear
Its shape was unlike water
With no delay
In faith sincere
I knelt down at the altar
My head was bowed
My gaze dressed down
For such appeared the favoured mount
From which my teardrop tapered down
Her bare feet to embrace
She of such intimate grace
The kind that smiles through sweet embrace
A velvet ball gown steeped in lace
Striking eyes of high estate
She whispered of a dream to chase
I naturally obliged
Blinded by emitted rays
Both time and space then disengaged
Shattering the rigid chains
My naked soul didst bind
I held her near
And wept a tear
Its shape was unlike water
With no delay
And lion brave
I gazed down at the altar
Hedgerow blooms led sprightly dance
As we resumed our charmed advance
The night was young, yet not unsung
Would come undone in glancing past
Skin to skin and mast to mast
Vast seas in our wake apart
Bastard blades could break no heart
Of double-breasted rampart brave
My head was raised
To bless my gaze
For such appeared the favoured way
From which my teardrop tapered down
Unto her rose buds famed
I held her near
She kept this tear
Its shape was unlike water
Of celebrate
In pendant dear
We wed upon the altar

To brave lions, their hearts, their loves, their compassion and their infinite grace~ 🖤
What beautiful words from a beautiful soul. Thank you V, for seeing the brave lion. For stopping by and leaving precious keepsakes in the one place that means the most. For believing in me as an artist and, most of all, for identifying that my art is all that I am. Touched by this. Truly 🖤
Every word. Love. <3 Another beautiful piece, My Brave.
Thank you, My Twin Flame. ❤
