Here in my core
Here within
I am one with the river
And sprung from the streams
Praise be the giver and keeper of dreams
Here in my core
Chill and shiver recede
Here in the corner
The red cedar bleeds
I am bled
To be wed to the leaves

I fly as I fall
In the steep of cool breeze
Every time I am lulled into sleep
My soul is a river
At one with the streams
For within them
I hold onto dreams
Of the kind only blind eyes can see
Thus I shut them tight each time I leap

At the great gate
Is a lady in waiting
Familiar as quite simply She
Praise be this giver and keeper of dreams
Each vermilion teardrop
The red cedar bleeds
Is a piece of me sweetened
Appreciably deepened
Sound reason to peacefully breathe
We are bled
To be wed to the leaves

Our chests
Rise and fall
In the heat of warm breeze
Two souls of one river
That runs red in streams
Of the kind only blind eyes can see
Of the kind famed herein we wade deep

Praise be the flames in the veins of the leaves
Fair be the air that we breathe
To declare every dream in our keep
Here within
Chill and shiver recede
We shut our eyes tight
For each time that we leap
Here in our corner
Where red cedar bleeds
