Here in London I daydream of a Turkish summer.
In these days in London, the bad news cycle revolves from counting the pain to counting the cost and then back again, a daily repetition to induce fear. It’s easy to feel an overwhelming sense of anxiety and foreboding.
But sometimes I pause, then slip into a daydream, letting my mind override the local conditions of the day and transport me away from the news and events back to altogether more special place….
