Ghost “Life Eternal”
There is such beauty in this world
All about me
In every corner, nook and cranny of my mind
And then so many more besides
I find a feather that forever left behind me
There is no duty more divine
Than flat refusal to deny ourselves perusal of the truth within our eyes
We scrutinize to humanize
And thus see hushed and neutralized
The voice free choice rejoices when touched on where the confusion lies
Disputes arise and feudal ties then brutalize our minds
Our pupil size may still dilate
Yet nary then declare narrate
As to where the greatest contribution lies
There is illusion
When our famed selves are disproven
Once we negate to favour the communal lines of youthful chime
Where truth abides by useful guides
Aligned through self improvement
Proven to delight the sails that scale the heights
Survey the flight we prize once we decline to lay awake at night
The faintest lights need not recede
Should we proceed of caution free
Learn to be the fallen tree
That redefined enormously
The flawless scene before it strewn
Through sprawl of leaves in steeped lagoon
Seen gorgeously from peak to root
To illustrate more scenic route
Seedlings shooting
Wild and brave
To seek rebloom through tidal waves
Of kindly break
The kind we used to hide away
The garden where a child once played
Seeking then to hide again
In cycle phase refrained
There is such beauty in this world
Owed to immutable unfurl
It’s every diamond
Ruby
Pearl
It’s all about me
As I twirl
In every corner, nook and cranny
There’s a vibrant hootenanny
Both reliant and uncanny
Plus so many things besides
Once we hide go seek the feather that forever left behind

“It’s every diamond
Ruby
Pearl
It’s all about me
As I twirl”
This whole poem stirred up my inner child, fanciful and free. Free from harm and amongst nature. I used to love twirling and miss being able to do it at the normal speed! I can but rotate so that’s something. How I feel as I caught sight of this, has significantly improved so with glee I thank you Lion. And the dreamcatcher, I have a silver chain with a pendant and I really ought to wear it more.
We shall have to twirl next time we get to hang out, Mouse. I always say that, if a poem can touch just one soul, then it has been seen enough to be. Thank you, for being that soul.
Oh definitely!!!! Rotate 🤣 I’d love nothing but to twirl under the watchful gaze of The Faraway Tree and crass carnations. Your work always ignites my spark Lion and I feel same, if I reach out to one person I’m really content 💞
“There is no duty more divine
Than flat refusal to deny ourselves perusal of the truth within our eyes”
Your poetry consistently delivers lines that make a person think. I love it!
