Entities “Mother Gaia (Instrumental)”

As I lay me down to sleep
I pray your boundless soul to keep
Then raise the stakes and take a leap
To make this place my sole retreat

Herein I am wholly free
To seat beneath the oldest tree
Bleed to feed the swollen stream
And each deep breath released
Emboldens me
Mine relates to noble deed
To see thee true through focused beam
Until such time as you depart
The boulevard of broken dreams

Hush little baby
Don’t say a word
For each famed heartbeat I concur
Need not spoken verse to claim myself prenatal connoisseur
The echo of embrace still lingers
On my face
Tips of fingers
Tracing back the ancient tracks of centuries

Fire and brimstone
Stoke the cinders
Embers lend remembrance
Of the cold midwinter night I died
And thus survived a lifetime sentence
Temperance aside
I knew the moon would guide me back to you
Once the prelude had concluded
Musing aptly chapter two

As I lay me down to sleep
I pray your boundless soul to keep
Then raise a glass to praise the day
I made this place my sole retreat

Deep beneath the membrane
Through the sinew
To each bled vein
I continue through the hedge maze that is you
Every heartbeat is a clue as to the whereabouts of bloom
Thus I declare devout unto
The secret garden
In my view
The pathway snakes
Yet never breaks
For tethered am I
To thine divine grace
As I lay me down to sleep
Shall see thee at the gateway
To praise the day
We taste the dream
