Versification of Sainthood

Listen to Versification of Sainthood by Richard Charles Stevens

Listen to Saddic Gladdic by Wagon Christ

It takes all sorts
To make small talk and grand plans cross candid broadswords
It takes stalwarts in manned tall forts
To believe when seen to fall short
It takes journeymen returning then to further lend assault force
It takes all sorts
To essentially be we

Some see only monochrome
While others Technicolor in-between
Some see golden honeycomb
While others amber nectar spun by droves as they bestow enthrone to queen
Some outrun the velodrome
While others heel to toe slow down and breathe
Some of us reveal and show
While others hold most precious stones in keep

It takes all sorts
To be one in seven billion and rising
It takes white chalk and vermilion to be seen fraternizing
It takes patronizing straight talk to feel downsized and unstable
It takes harmonizing cables to relay the charm of fable
It takes half the time to crack a smile as knuckles in disgust
Should we pass our time with bravehearts
It takes half the time to trust
It takes all sorts
To essentially be we
To prevent the disaffection of our breed

Some of us bleed openly to sow soft spoken seeds
While others lay siege upon our hopes and dreams outspokenly
Some decay while others feed
The very way of nature’s theme
And it has been this way since planet earth was mainly sea
It takes all sorts
To alter course of fate and rename destiny
Relation
To essentially be seen
It takes all sorts
To unendingly be we
Yet it only takes one saint
To dare to dream

It takes all sorts
To make small talk and grand plans cross candid broadswords
It takes stalwarts in manned tall forts
To believe when seen to fall short
It takes journeymen returning then to further lend assault force
It takes all sorts
To essentially be we

Yet it only takes one saint
To dare to dream
