While all things bright and beautiful
Are dutiful to place
It’s the small things
Endorsing the smile on my face
The tiniest gestures
Confiding the answers to questions no less than constitutionally relayed

Unscrupulously swayed to institutionally parade
The lack of scruples to stay youthful
As we insuperably age
Rage against machines
Which remain truthful of decay
When it may be deemed way more fruitful to relate

Prizes screened for size and height and weight
To flighted dreams demise a frightful waste
All low tides and tidal waves
Remotely broken bridle reins
Highs and lows aside
We’re seldom qualified to find our range
Unless our minds align to a more timely way of thinking

Sinking in the clay
Could well go either way
Declined of faith
And here is where endorphins come to play
While all things bright and beautiful
Are dutiful to place
It’s the small things reinforcing our estate

When all in a quandary
Upright or horizontally
Through bomb debris
Most opulently seen
The tiniest of gestures
Boast the shiniest of vestures
Yet seed humble
Introduction to astronomy
Knowing our art touched one heart in some way
Feels most charming way to save on false economy

While all things bright and beautiful
Are dutiful to place
It’s the small things
Endorsing the smile on my face
The tiniest gestures
Confiding the answers to questions no less than constitutionally relayed

As a matter of size
We lean back galvanized
Foreseen magic empathically prized on free flight
The very tiniest of gestures
Make the kindliest suggestion
And remind of essence treasured
To entitle our ascension
Highs and lows aside
We’re not required to find our range
When it’s the small things
Like just skimming stones
That make for greatest waves
