I’m a dreamer
Starry eyed
One man safari guide
A lionheart
With tribal scars
And steadfast for my pride

I stride with purpose
Virtuous and strive for title courteous
Know of how to heal midst the reveal of primal hurts in us
Pertinent to growth
With the assertiveness of oath
That with the sturdiness of oak
I shall define
The dreamer’s dream foreseen through eagle’s eye
For I believe
It’s easier to fly

With my head in the clouds
And the aided tread of elevated grounds
That once lost has been found wanting for no profiting surround
For there exist riches profound
In sounding out all ships aground
In faith that they might pivot round
And crown unique horizon
Proudly as the ancient river rises
Bountiful of most prestigious prizes

I’m a dreamer
Starry eyed
One man safari guide
A lionheart
With tribal scars
And steadfast for my pride

A voice
For the voiceless
Rejoicing through art
My choice is to bleed as this feeds deepest parts
As a seed
I may recede
Once flowers breathe the air of chance
But I will be nearby for the last dance
For I would sooner die than see denied a heart’s advance

With my hand on my chest
I am best placed to beat
Preconditioned retreat
Which commissions defeat
Permission to proceed need not explicitly concede
Should we heed inner vision gleaned from each fatigue
Seen as beaten
We redeem the strength to fame ascension as we venture forth with depth of sight esteemed
I would sooner die than see a dreamer’s dream undreamt when shared adventures set so reverent a scene

I’m a dreamer
Starry eyed
One man safari guide
A lionheart
With tribal scars
And steadfast for my pride

As for we
We’re pertinent to growth
With the assertiveness of oath
That with the sturdiness of oak
We shall eternally define
The dreamer’s dream foreseen through eagle’s eye
For we believe
It’s easier to fly

As I lay me down to sleep
I place my head down
Turn a cheek
Return to where the flame burns deep
Where earth’s terrain is verdant green
In favour of emergent trees
That twist the breeze and turn the leaves
Permissive of determined gleam
My eyes embrace recurrent dream

I’m a dreamer
Starry eyed
One man safari guide
A lionheart
With tribal scars
And steadfast for my pride
