Hearts unchained
Roam wild and brave
Disincline to hide away
Find a place that feels like home
Then go for broke to make it safe
Hearts unchained
Will find a way
To break the untamed tidal waves
Take the reins on idle days
And stake their claim on dry terrain
Hearts unchained awaken wild and brave
Best we not forsake them
Just in case

Bleeding like a red wine stain on bone white Persian rug
Seed heads feeding ripe grain as the veins of reassertion blush
Much of what we see could make a beggar of belief
That what we see can ever be retouched
Some days it can feel too much to take
And that’s okay
Tomorrow is another day
And may not play so rough
Love can stay the distance when au fait with the assistance of a lover who conveys the self-same flush
Find a tree not faraway
And lounge beneath in pride of place
Seek the souls that glow the greatest
Grow the seeds of light and shade
Make it safe for both to play
Remain the night
Delight the day
For they need never stay away
When we are safe to bleed our veins
Feed the leaves and tease the breeze
With reasons sweet to breathe again
Feel the rain and celebrate the taste of tears
On green terrain
Ultraviolet eyes will redesign to prize true blue
Suddenly horizons peak anew

Hearts unchained
Roam wild and brave
Disincline to hide away
Find a place that feels like home
Then go for broke to make it safe
Hearts unchained
Will find a way
To break the untamed tidal waves
Take the reins on idle days
And stake their claim on dry terrain
Hearts unchained awaken wild and brave
Best we not forsake them
Just in case

To acquire which way you’re facing
Take your eye off destination
For the train of ruination
Was estranged back at the dawn of our creation
As children we were fearless
We were valiant and bold
Stallions when faced with open road
Dalliance came later
When the days grew long and cold
Bitter nights confided all that glitters isn’t gold
Frittering our will
To see us littering the faith annulled
Making quitters
Faming resignation
Best we not forsake them
Just in case
We find another heart unchained
And realign in brace
Beat in time
Rely on veins to keep the vital signs ablaze
Seek reprise and find the flame
That decorates each light and shade
Find a tree not faraway
And lounge beneath in braid of twine
Face the brazen tide and stand revivified in vibrant claim
Some days it may seem our dreams evade
And that’s okay
Tomorrow is another day
And may just change the game

Hearts unchained
Be wild and brave
Disincline to hide away
Find a place that feels like home
Then go for broke to make it safe
Hearts unchained
Will find a way
To stand defiant
Break the silence
Take the reins on idle days
And stake their claim on famed terrain
Hearts unchained awaken wild and brave
Best we celebrate them
Just in case
