the lion had braved many storms before now
been forewarned of his fate
on so many occasions
of such cruel persuasion
it made him irate
so forlorn was this leader of men
once thought great
.
he awaited with patience
untamed to this day
to delight in the rise of a nation of slaves
to untie all their binding and break all their chains
to endeavour whether knighted or severed on this day
.
through the never
ever after
this had been the lion’s way
from the deadwood
to the rafters
he stood masterful and brave
having weathered such disaster
nothing ever felt the same
seemed a devil of an ask for him
remembering his name
.
standing tall in pride of place
beneath the shaded arch
flaming heart in kind ablaze
to fame creative art
.
standing tall in pride of place
beneath the shaded arch
flaming heart in kind ablaze
to fame creative art
.
he awaited with patience
untamed to this day
to delight in the rise of a nation of slaves
.
should the better part of him have been surrendered in advance
then he would never have imparted such a clever call to arms
for all the lion’s charm
it was his honesty disarming
no terrain remained uncharted
not a lie his eyes departed
.
beauteous the truth declared
brutal only when ensnared
neither here nor there when there was everywhere to roam
.
standing tall in pride of place
beneath the shaded arch
flaming heart in kind ablaze
to fame creative art
.
standing tall in pride of place
beneath the shaded arch
flaming heart in kind ablaze
to fame creative art
.
the lion had worn many gowns before now
been endowed with pride entitled he
by souls arose from mighty keep
composing hopeful odes of open roads upon behalf of he
for nary one remote outpost would dare to zone his artistry
.
should the better part of him have been surrendered
in advance
then all the clouds he braved would fade to grey to warn his heart
.
defeated
torn apart
their rains bid fall to grace the plains of parch
mother earth concurring call
to further serve the lion’s cause
.
further serve the lion’s cause
.
further serve the lion’s cause
.
standing tall in pride of place
beneath the shaded arch
flaming heart in kind ablaze
to fame creative art
.
flaming heart in kind ablaze
to fame creative art
.
he awaited with patience
untamed to this day
to delight in the rise of a nation of slaves

.

he awaited with patience
untamed to this day
to delight in the rise of a nation of slaves

.
seeking out all those in hiding
finding
keeping
e’er abiding
crystal clear the glare confiding
whereabouts of home
whereabouts of home
whereabouts of home
whereabouts of home
whereabouts of home
.
