Chasing rainbows opportune
To braid them through the sky’s surprise
Appraise the light
Delight in fragrant bloom

I shall ne’er forget the day
Archangels fell in love
Scattered from the heavens in the promise of retelling
Kisses in remembrance of the lips that swelled to greet them
Echoes of eternity repeating

Pleading for a love so grand
That open hands alone can only dream to chaperone its safest keeping
Fingertips that glance the hearts of those so gently weeping
Charmed by calm caresses even when they cease their beating

Fleeting in remembrance of the lips that swelled to greet them
Echoes of eternity repeating
Fleeting in remembrance of the lips that swelled to greet them
Echoes of eternity repeating
(Repeating)

I shall ne’er forget the day
I wept away the tears of rain
Impressed upon the soiled terrain
Reclaimed from toil of solitude
Embracing bloom of May through June
Of yesterdays gone way too soon
Todays resumed to rumour of tomorrows sun and moon
Through whom the light and shade parade in tasteful tune
For safe in keeping
Are echoes of eternity repeating

Incline was steep
My faith was blind
I primed for leap
In chimed delight
Then turned to She
In braid of twine
Engaged in flight
To paint the skies

Famed reprise
With grace and favour
Waivered rights
To sign disclaimer
Way too high to die again
With angel eyes divine
To savour

Incline was steep
My faith was blind
I primed for leap
In chimed delight
Then turned to She
In braid of twine
Engaged in flight
To paint the skies

Famed reprise
With grace and favour
Waivered rights

Way too high to die again
With angel eyes divine
To savour

I shall ne’er forget the day
I sat aside the bayside crying
Sought a way to break this spell
Felt compelled to dying trying
Testifying death-defying ventures brave exemplifying
Tinted rose hip recollections
Hinted at redressed projections
Dignified of blessed reflection
Clear as sheerest Crystalline
Dignified of blessed reflection
Clear as sheerest Crystalline

Chasing rainbows opportune

Echoes of eternity

I shall ne’er forget the day
The way it made a play for night
To scale the heights of great acclaim
And stake a claim on trading rights
Melting ice in swelter of engendering delight
Making haven safe thence taking shelter deep inside
Leaping blind to take the reins of secrets of the mind
Make them into daisy chains
And reminisce on lazy days
Lounging in the hazy shade of all four seasons twined
Settling the skyline as it freshens in unique horizon
Bleeding truth from eyes that weep in keeping with a high tide steeped in diamonds

I shall ne’er forget the day I died
I shall ne’er forget the sweet embrace that breathed me back to life
I shall ne’er forget the way we played charades and masqueraded one-time lives through playful art of mime
I shall ne’er forget the trace of fingertips across this heart of mine
I shall ne’er forget to wear their signature in place of greatest pride

I shall ne’er forget the day
The angels fell in love
I shall lend great urgency to fervently retelling
Kisses in remembrance of the lips that swell to greet them
Echoes of eternity repeating
