Love was once a mystery
A waste of songs to dedicate
Had missed the mark consistently
And for so long felt second rate
Whichever way I turned
I felt still further from projected gain
Though while the pain seemed ready made
Intent the skies to threaten rain
I ventured to the entryway
Would do the very same again
In heavy gales prevail to blaze a trail from done and done
