Finally a reason to believe
Something my own eyes until this time declined to see
Knew there was a reason why I ventured into dream
Knew that life essentially made sense to me asleep
Threw so many fights
For I felt desperately weak
Didn’t seem the time for signing testimony bleak
Mightily delightedly relieved
Finally a reason to believe
Unless my eyes deceived
There was no need left to proceed
Nothing left to lose but blues
Tall grass no longer green
Kicked off both my shoes
To feel the earth beneath my feet
Beauty had been rumoured in-between
Knew there was a reason why I ventured into dream
Knew the seasons fleeting were retreating to be seen
Knew the sun and moon were keeping secrets from the stars
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Nothing left to lose that hadn’t formerly been taken
For all my blindest faith
I had been shaken to foundations
Precious little destiny to question the suggestive lean of fate
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Wallowing in hollow of self-hatred
Swallowing the pride that eyes of sorrow bid decline
Dropping to my knees to cry a river red to testify
Death’s design resembled mine
Albeit more intensified
Every teardrop bled supplied polite request to death defy
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Finally a reason to believe
Something my own eyes reclined excitedly to see
Every soul entitled in my keep made eyes at me
Bled a tear sincerely to delight the tide inviting me
To finally defiantly believe
Knew there was a reason why I ventured into dream
Finally my life made sense asleep
Waking life prevented me from venturing too deep
Hide and seek expelled
For I knew well each soul entitled in my keep
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
I knew well each soul entitled
I knew well each soul entitled
I knew well each soul entitled in my keep
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Finally a reason to believe
Something my own eyes until this time declined to see
Knew there was a reason why I ventured into dream
Knew that life essentially made sense to me asleep
Threw so many fights
For I felt desperately weak
Didn’t seem the time for signing testimony bleak
Mightily delightedly relieved
Finally a reason to believe
Didn’t seem the time for signing testimony bleak
Didn’t feel alright to feel so desperately weak
No fights left to throw
I could not pass upon with dignity
When every teardrop bled fed fresh direction intravenously
Suddenly my arteries
Were sculpting timeless masterpiece
Suddenly my heart felt less defeated
Lovingly I ventured into dream through tall grass green
Compelled to tell each soul they’d always be a part of me
Learned to love yours truly through my artistry
Learned to overrule self-hatred
Bid to swell cathartic bleed
Knew there was a reason I proceeded blindly leaping
Sun and moon confiding of the secrets in their keeping
Suddenly the stars resemble diamonds in the skies
Truly, madly, deeply
I believe my widened eyes
Truly, madly, deeply
I believe my widened eyes
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
Truly, truly, madly, deeply
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Truly, madly, deeply
Truly, truly, madly, deeply
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Diamonds in the skies
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
Diamonds in the skies
Truly, madly, deeply
I kept heart
I kept heart
I kept heart
I kept heart
I kept heart
