Listen to The Evident Some by Richard Charles Stevens

Listen to We Are Stardust by Lukhash

.
Some of us live in the moment
Some of us cling to the past
Some of us find ourselves stuck in the present
And seldom look set to advance
.
Some of us cannot adore here and now
Can only love that which has passed
Some of us are broken so badly
That sadly the hearts in our chests turn to glass
.
Some of us make same mistakes
Perpetuating pattern
Some of us accentuate the voice that grates inside our heads
Intensely stating nothing really matters
.
Some of us react on cue
The same way doubled back on loop
Some of us are tied to tracks
Denied the knack for aptitude
.
Some of us see fact as truth
Through inconclusive sources
Life’s one long malpractice suit
Each fracture reinforces
.
Some of us are meek and mild
Seeking sweet release from trial
Speaking of techniques reviled
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some might say
We’re doomed to fail
Platoon too frail for setting sail
Some of us have raised our masts
To tell a more compelling tale
.
Some of us ascend in scale
Make success of pending fails
Breathe in every pain
Rename it pleasure
Wait…
And then exhale
.
Breathe in every pain
Rename it pleasure
Wait…
And then exhale
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.

Some of us relate to gain
Can trace the sun from shaded lanes
Come undone to dress renown
Caress the clouds to make it rain
.
Some place in our mazy brains
All hazy days aside
Remain abiding daisy chains
Should laces have been tied
.
For some it ain’t too late to change
Debated state of minds
Should hate equate to no great haste
To love enough to try
.
Summon up the need to school the cruel
To keep them kind
Remind them of the binding
They’d be wise to leave behind
.
Some still say we’re doomed to fail
To rue the day platoon set sail
And this is why I raise full masts
Narrate a more compelling tale
.
Some of us are meek and mild
Seeking sweet release from trial
Speaking of techniques reviled
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of us are meek and mild
Seeking sweet release from trial
Speaking of techniques reviled
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
Some of our beliefs are wild
.
