invisible wishes
and shooting star kisses
threading a needle
through all earthly stitches

drifting like mist in the slipstream of tears
each of which cling to the swim of my fears
no need to rally to tally arrears
as i carry each day through the night

luminescent
ever present in each everlong prolonged in throng of blessèd essence vested
to contest the dress of fate

luminescent
ever present in each everlong prolonged in throng of blessèd essence vested
to contest the dress of fate

i was a playwright
in aeons long passed
i was an ensign
when hung at half mast
i was a child in the garden and vast were the dreams every light and shade cast
there was a reason i seeked comfort fast
in the arms of each season i glanced
there were felled leaves at my feet as i weaved them into the adhesion of chance
i was a tree
known to bleed from its bark
skylarks upon my boughs rested
i was the breeze
with the freedom to see the whole region
and breathe uncontested
it was suggested
that death was invested in testing belief by decree of suspension
henceforth i sprawled fallen frond to abscond from the cruel demise life aforementioned

through the veil gate
a grand kingdom awaits
whereat every night mingles with day
every night mingles with day

through the veil gate
a grand kingdom awaits
whereat every night mingles with day

luminescent
ever present in each everlong prolonged in throng of blessèd essence vested
to contest the dress of fate

midst darkening of light
we realign the night to day
for ours is the kingdom
of almighty brave
ours is the kingdom
of almighty brave

invisible wishes
and shooting star kisses
threading a needle
through all earthly stitches

drifting like mist in the slipstream of tears
each of which cling to the swim of my fears
no need to rally to tally arrears
as i carry each day through the night
no need to rally to tally arrears
as i carry each day through the night
carry each day through the night
carry each day through the night
carry each day through the night

i was a child in the garden when hearkening angels persuaded my rile
theirs was the penalty of chastity outdated as they drastically belated my beguile
left the skyline faded as they preyed upon the stars
sweet faces changing beneath tainted masks
of distemperment lent to defile
distemperment lent to defile

i die
you die

i die
you die
we die and need i remind we fly high from the embers
seldom break tether when venturing blind
less our hands and feet be tied together
twined is one bind
that of flightful incline
stayed is the braid that delights in the rise
broken the chains those of token lives claimed to parade in the whites of our eyes
i was a child
now i am
once again
as i carry the night back to day

invisible wishes
and green lichen kisses
inviting campaigners to brave the ellipsis
this flame is eternal
and furthermore yearns to defiantly burn ever bright once again
enlightened
of weightless faith heightened
for time and space flighted
need ne’er fade away

through the veil gate
a grand kingdom awaits
whereat every night mingles with day
ours is the legion of light and of shade
for within we are single of flame

invisible kisses
our last parting wishes
in life or in death
we are ne’er far away
luminescent
ever present in each everlong prolonged in throng of blessèd essence vested
to contest the dress of fate

midst darkening of light
we realign the night to day
for ours is the kingdom
of almighty brave
