She realised
In that moment
He would never leave her side
The very same grave moment
That he died
Although her heart had broken
Torn apart
Been prised wide open
Not a beat was left unspoken
Or denied
∞
The pain was overwhelming
As she fell into the void
Devoid of reasons left to draw deep breath and try
Death seemed unbecoming
For one dressed in light so stunning
It withstood the most long running test of time
∞
Life was but a fleeting dream
This dreamer dreamed with majesty
Thus travesty aside
His timeless gallantry survived
The triviality of final breaths revived
By the vitality of essence left behind
∞
Such purity of weapon
Was a lesson to mankind
A legacy no less than omnipresent through the never
As it never one time lessened in reprise
She realised
In that moment
He had never left her side
For although her heart had broken
Torn apart
Been prised wide open
Not a beat was left unspoken
For all time
