Listen to Dance At The Moonlight by Instrumental Core

across the crowded room
i could discern profound perfume
its scent was heaven sent and lent to rhododendrons in bloom
this heady cocktail breathed anew
intoxicated senses slewed
i wished straightforwardly to prove
all thoughts and deeds be deemed as true
.
amidst the whispers of the multitude
i felt enclosed in solitude
howbeit saw my hopes renewed
as she then ghosted into view
all those of hue and cry pursued
would surely die to set the mood
their teeth and bones
uneven stones
their flesh and blood
our deeper tones
such heathen souls too slow to note the majesty of She
such was the atrophy exposed and unilaterally on show
.
had never seen such open bleed
felt such fierce breeze about me blow
felt even halfway so serene
observed devout so heel to toe
there was no question
i was seen
could feel her gaze upon my keen
and through the hazy shapes parading
only one wore feathers preened
afforded eminence of queen
her form the renascence of theme
i bid remembrance from a dream
therefore felt treasured to proceed
for every ventured step toward
my heart recentered
felt adored
commenced to beat with bettered cause
each stent unfettered by remorse
.
there was no question
i was seen
could feel her gaze undressing me
could feel the rise and fall of centuries
reminders of that meant to be
no token need for pleasantries
for it had been foretold of destiny
our bitter fates shown clemency
to dress this blessèd weave
.
dress this blessèd weave
dress this blessèd weave
dress this blessèd weave
dress this blessèd weave
dress this blessèd weave
dress this blessèd weave
.
across the crowded room
my voice resounded only She
my choice rejoicing silence steeped
to bid this soul my timeless keep
to proffer all of me
and more besides
to marvel at her flawless flight
for we had wed the day to night
for we had bled of brave abide
for we had led this masquerade
a multitude of times
sped of cycles redesigned
this recital ventured blind
there was no question
i was seen
could feel her gaze upon my keen; perceived
through sightless eyes reclined in blessèd white
.
across the crowded room
i could discern profound perfume
its scent was heaven sent and lent to rhododendrons in bloom
this heady cocktail breathed anew
intoxicated senses slewed
i wished straightforwardly to prove
all thoughts and deeds be deemed as true
.
my heart recentered
in that moment
not a single word was spoken
as the crown upon her head was realigned
i could discern her sweet perfume
could feel the feathers in her plume
could taste her grace upon my lips
could hear the whispers of her fingertips
tracing as i kneeled before her feet
for in the eyes of Ultima
i had been seen
.
across the crowded room
i could discern profound perfume
its scent was heaven sent and lent to rhododendrons in bloom
this heady cocktail breathed anew
intoxicated senses slewed
i wished straightforwardly to prove
all thoughts and deeds be deemed as true
.
my heart recentered
in that moment
not a single word was spoken
as the crown upon her head was realigned
i could discern her sweet perfume
could feel the feathers in her plume
could taste her grace upon my lips
could hear the whispers of her fingertips
tracing as i kneeled before her feet
for in the eyes of Ultima
i had been seen
.

  1. Wow, this is the Ultima(te) love song. To find someone who would cause one to feel this way and express so by means of the anthem above would be very difficult to put into words except “💥”.

I copied so many excerpts to quote, I just selected all and pasted onto my heart, if I may be so bold 🫀
