Listen to Sweet Disclosure by Richard Charles Stevens (The Disposition Suite)
Listen to Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap
My heart and my soul
I shall ever disclose
Through my art
Under charm of the quill
The ink of verity be spilled
Steeped in sincerity for every bleed
In every sense tis all of me revealed
.
My heart and my soul
I shall ever disclose
Through my art
Under charm of the quill
The ink of verity be spilled
Steeped in sincerity for every bleed
In every sense tis all of me revealed
.
Precautionary measures never have been chosen way
Would sooner fall to death a thousand times than stow away
Embroidered on lapel the centrepiece of very being
Beating with poise dignity and grace
Beaten to within a single pulse of all at sea
In every sense tis all of me
Yet still I bid no beat of me retreat
Sincerity in every bleed
Of light or shade regardless
Freeing up the harness barbed to fetter me
.
For better or for worse
Through weathered blessing dressed as curse
I never once forget this organs chords of elemental worth
Without it I would surely cease
Would lie stone cold with dismal ease
The trees would wither
Crops decease
Should it be kept neath lock and key
I hanker not to be the only sanctimony stopping me
From feeling whether that be screaming pain or strained relief
Sincerity in every bleed
For every teardrop gently weeps
Replenishes reserves to further bolster my belief
That I can paint a masterpiece of every single soul within my keep and practice every happiness I preach
.
For each heartbeat my soul be fed
Both light and shade paroled when veins be bled
(In every sense tis all of me revealed)
The second brain adds pinch of salt to thoughts that swarm my head
Abstains from hosting apprehension fraught remorse and dread
Can break the chains that bind
Confide the secrets of the universe in kind
(In every sense tis all of me revealed)
Lead me to the inner child I left behind regretfully
Will seek the hiding best of me
And steep a timeless estuary
Supply a voice to every lost soul in my keep expressively
In every sense tis all of me
Yet so much more besides
Before and during
All enduring
Through between to afterlife
With dearest friends
Shall make it there in half the time
.
For better or for worse
Through weathered blessing dressed as curse
I never once forget this organ’s chords of elemental worth
Without it I would surely cease
Would lie stone cold with dismal ease
The trees would wither
Crops decease
Should it be kept neath lock and key
I hanker not to be the only sanctimony stopping me
From feeling whether that be screaming pain or strained relief
Sincerity in every bleed
For every teardrop gently weeps
Replenishes reserves to further bolster my belief
That I can paint a masterpiece of every single soul within my keep and practice every happiness I preach
Practice every happiness I preach
Practice every happiness I preach
.
My heart and my soul
I shall ever disclose
Through my art
Under charm of the quill
The ink of verity be spilled
Steeped in sincerity for every bleed
In every sense tis all of me revealed
And self same fame to gain for all who feel
Self same fame to gain for all who feel
.
