The brittle ice about my heart

As I embark on visualising through my art
Each part of my design

Using brush strokes broad and fine
I decorate each canvas
With exactness and abstraction
From the frame that reins inaction
Like a bird
I seek migration
Unforeseen of altercation
To a place where faith is stationed
In the wake of great expansion
Hands-on as I stoke the flame
Which blazes in us all
In the hope
That one lost soul
May heed begotten call
To soften fall
And steep the rise
Of undistracted eagle flight

Each captive freed of equal height

My vital signs then stabilise
Heartbeat nowise plagiarised
Starfleet in dilated eyes
Should pain exceed the gain
Then ever heedful I remain
