In this dream state
I am weightless
Ancient keepsake
Of the ageless
Feel a sweet ache
It is painless
As these tears fade
I am stainless
.
Here indeed may
Escape the matrix
Leave the freeway
Break the chain links
Seek unique ways
To exchange gifts
Thus exceed gains
When the veil lifts
.
Need not keep pace
With the faithless
Bleed my deep veins
Less than gracious
Make discreet way
To oasis
Should I keep faith
Turn the pages

Every faint glimpse
Of innate bliss
Is a quaint kiss
To my pale lips
Weeps a keepsake
Of the ages
As these tears fade
I am stainless
.
In this dream state
I am lifted
Feel the sweet rain
Of ellipsis
See the sun play
Blow it kisses
Save the moon face
And eclipse it
.
Need not run raids
On the one place
Where on glum days
I am lifted
Having won praise
Of the sun rays
In this moon phase
I then shifted
.
In this dream state
I am weightless
In the deep space
Ever spacious
With the keen grace
Of a Geisha
As these tears fade
I am stainless
.
In this dream state
I am weightless
Ancient keepsake
Of the ageless
Feel a sweet ache
It is painless
As these tears fade
I am stainless
(I am stainless)
.
Had to be courageous
In the face of flaming pyre
Had to grieve in stages
To explain the trailing wire
Gather all the traces
Of remaining vague desire
Put myself through paces
In the name of raising fire
.
Had to play the river
To enable faith to blind me
Had to stay and glimmer
For the waifs and strays behind me
Had to break the stigma
Or else take the fate advised me
Had to play enigma
To escape the maze designed me
.
Had to squeeze the trigger slow
To blow my brains inside me
Had to seek a place to go
Disgrace would never find me
Had above foreseen below
Then I’d have smiled politely
Even so
I would have shown
The love known to ignite me
.
Here indeed may
Teach the faithless
To bleed deep veins
And be gracious
Make unique way
To oasis
Should they keep faith
