As the hard clay gave way at her feet
I knew well she was finally free
Felt obliged now to finally be
For her eyes wore the shine of release
The bad dreams had now finally ceased

Having plummeted the depths
She perched at summit drawing breaths
No longer clawing at her throat
Provoked by buffeting request
No longer functioning at best
She sat abreast of blessèd chance
Commenced restructuring address
To lend caress her swelling heart
No longer puzzled by the rose red river tunnelling advance
Within these open streams
All hopes and dreams awoke
And she was charmed

Impressed upon her lips
The kiss of bourbon on the rocks
No beast of burden to adopt
Deadbolt of certitude unlocked
For birds of cursive feather flocked to sever tethers frayed
Remained together as they weathered every red wave of displeasure
Taking measures to convey a way more epoch making light

As the hard clay gave way at her feet
I knew well she was finally free
Felt obliged now to finally be
For her eyes wore the shine of release
The bad dreams had now finally ceased

No pressure applied as they treasured free flight
And propelled her delight to the height of wild zephyr
The bad dreams had ceased and each sleep was serene
Having freed up the leash at her leisure

Though confession bled no less from her palms
There was no question to suggestion
She was charmed

Shadows still crept through her chamber each nightfall
However she kept every spectre unchained
Their impressions were some way from frightful
No longer framed within paradigm
Pining for one thing obliging to finally be
Felt obliged to defiantly breathe
For her eyes wore the shine of relief
The bad dreams had now finally ceased
And her dreams set a sweet scene with ease

Having plummeted the depths
She perched at summit drawing breaths
No longer clawing at her throat
Provoked by buffeting request
No longer functioning at best
She sat abreast of blessèd chance
Commenced restructuring address
To lend caress her swelling heart
No longer puzzled by the rose red river tunnelling advance
Within these open streams
All hopes and dreams awoke
And she was charmed

The bad dreams had now finally ceased
And her dreams set a sweet scene with ease

As the hard clay gave way at her feet
I knew well she was finally free
Felt obliged now to finally be
For her eyes wore the shine of release
The bad dreams had now finally ceased

Impressed upon her lips
The kiss of bourbon on the rocks
No beast of burden to adopt
Deadbolt of certitude unlocked
For birds of cursive feather flocked to sever tethers frayed
Remained together as they weathered every red wave of displeasure
Taking measures to convey a way more epoch making light

No pressure applied as they treasured free flight
And propelled her delight to the height of wild zephyr

As the hard clay gave way at her feet
I knew well she was finally free
Felt obliged now to finally be
For her eyes wore the shine of release
