Just beyond the unspeakable darkness
I see a flicker of almost imperceptible, translucent light.
Just enough to illuminate my Viking angel.
With those familiar eyes
So full of wisdom and kindness.
Beautifully framed with soft cascading silk.
Each lock caressing his gentle face with the dignity and grace
He so richly deserves.
He sees me and smiles
With his mouth and those kind eyes.
A solitary tear glistens quietly
In a moment of melancholy
As an ethereal warmth envelops me.
I hear his soft voice.
A soothing elixir of comfort and infinite love.
