Enigma “Find Love”

over in the very darkest recess of my room
i see you
through shadows undressed by request to reveal you
thus i need not ever once assume
can feel you in each pocket as my eyes acclimatize to prize the view
the tree upon my window pane taps enterprising code bespoke of you
the air is thick
and choked in you
of frozen screams provoked by you
howbeit, this is no bad dream
delirium long overdue
whence darkness falls
you rise like mist
to whisper clause
of stolen kiss
to melt the ice
of frozen lips
to have and hold eternal wish
unpermitted hazards, slips and trips
for sweet is the eclipse
whence darkness falls

retreating not when lent address
through silent eyes of spoken verse unspent
raven perched at writing desk decidedly unkempt
tells of all the former lives my wide eyes ever dreamt
each one wore the perfume of a love far more than love
each one bore a curse that we are blessed to rise above
i see you
through shadows undressed
to impress upon light
like a hand within velveteen glove
the air is thick
can barely breathe
though just enough
to taste your age
to swill and glug
to spill my lungs
of hungered will
unspoken tongue
thence turn the page
and bleed the quill
to quench upon
to take thine fill
for sweet is the reveal
whence darkness falls

over in the very darkest recess of my room
i hear the sweetest siren song midst crashing waves atop an ageless tomb
of endless sea as wide as deep
of sunken treasures in thine keep
of tide so steeped
the skies delight
to weave through braid
both day and night
you rise like mist
and breach the drift
to whisper clause
of stolen kiss
to melt the ice
of frozen ships
to have and hold eternal wish
to bare my bulging veins
invite you in
to take thine fill
for sweet is silent kill
when every death be sped of cause
to kiss our final breath
whence darkness falls

the raven at my writing desk
respectfully endorses
through the never
ever tethered
for together
each shall never be our last…
